In 1993, Catherine visited a tea room near Shelter Island, New York, and fell in love with the concept. "I liked the experience, the warmth and inviting atmosphere of the room," says Catherine. "I felt at home, possibly because of my Celtic background. The tea room brought back wonderful memories of sharing cups of tea and warm moments with my mother and father as I grew up. It was as though I had discovered a secret key that unlocked my ideas about catering."
As the years went by, Catherine was disappointed by the lack of a similar experience in Westchester, and promised herself she would open her own Tea Room. "My Afternoon Tea experience envelops you, just sends you to a different place when you walk through the door," says Catherine. "The whole room, the colors, the feeling, the aromas, music, everything embraces you and makes you feel comfortable, warm and relaxed!"
Catherine, a Platinum member of the "Cambridge Who's Who," is a recognized leader and contributor not only in her profession, but in her community as well. She is currently working on more exciting projects within the great HudsonValley, and continues to cater her exclusive Catherine's Afternoon Tea to homes and businesses throughout Westchester County.
